Why you must ditch your iPhone and AT&T?

Anticompetitive: Presently, AT&T and Apple are now under FCC investigation for their black box app approval process. The regulators want to know who killed the iPhone and why voice is different than VOIP apps including, Skype.

Easy Hacking targets: When your software platform is the world leader, the hackers spend their time engineering ways to make your device crash and burn. iPhone has been the subject of several frightening security breaches like the text message vulnerability, which Apple has already fixed.

Google Voice pulls out: When Apple rejected Google Voice (GV) from the App Store including, other GV related apps for which the customers had paid. Now they want refunds and Apple is telling developers that those refunds are supposed to come out of the developers’ pockets.

Downloading mayhem: Apple’s organizational system for downloading apps on the iPhone is terrible. When you download important stuff like the camera on the iPhone and move, the rest tumble into disarray and there aren’t any ways to organize them by name, size or kind.

You can’t find anything on UI. The iPhone’s user interface doesn’t get any better in iTunes, where it’s almost impossible to discover cool new apps easily without initially having to sift through garbage. There are third party sites including, AppBeacon that do help, but the more apps flood the store and iTunes gets more bloated and unwieldy.

Android is much better: Android phones are more gorgeous and functional than the iPhone which is devoid of several features. Android’s in the Open Handset Alliance has a different customization that lets you choose a phone that is built up the way you want.

T-Mobile is cheaper: T-Mobile is a lot cheaper if you check out their plans and rosy offerings. They also offer better customer service and are faster with WiMAX already rolled out in several cities.

Conclusion:

Apple can’t afford customer malice right now and they need to do something substantial to stop iPhone users who are talking about jumping ship. I’m no unilateral hater of iPhone and right beside me lies my precious white 3G S.

Well based on the number of comments listed here I wonder if the “moderator” is moderating all the differing opinions right out. Or for that matter if anyone ever reads this crap. This article isn’t based on any tangible real concern, defects, or risks. Rather, it is chock full of random grievances that don’t even hold water. I couldn’t contain all my thoughts in a single comment so I replied on my blog. http://alexanderthegreater.com/?p=136
