EAMCET is the prestigious entrance exam of ANDHRA PRADESH state for the allotment of seats in career courses like Engineering, Medicine and agriculture. Unlike other years 2010 Entrance exam has lot to attract the intermediate students due to the availability of the new rule in ranking the students. This rule states that, those who have attended EAMCET should also pass Intermediate exam and the rank that is allocated is the combine rank of EAMCET and Intermediate group marks.

The ranking criteria is as follows:

1. 25% of the marks are considered by the total marks secured in Intermediate (or +1/+2) group subjects

2. 75% of the marks are considered by the total marks secured in EAMCET.

3. The rank will be announced on the summation of the above 2 marks.

So guys, Inter mediate or +1 /+2 are very important in the rank criteria. Please feel free to ask any doubts if you have.For those who didnt check the answers yet. i have added the key to the Question papers here. please check them and download if necessary.

So friends, now that all of you might start updating and exercising your online options. Some of you might suceed but most of you failed in exercising options mostly because of two options:-

1. Eamcet servers are taking too long to respond (or)
2. The internet cafe you are accessing from are not enough fast to have your options locked.

I personally tested the counselling pages and the allocated seats etc, and got few tips to share with you folks,
so dont forget to share with your friends too.

Tips:

• Solution to avoid the eamcet server problem is by accessing your options at night after 9:30 or 10.
• Dont forget to save options after selecting every course and college. Failure in this may cause your session get expired and you may fail in logging back.
• To view your previous options click on the “LAST SAVED OPTIONS” option available on the menu bar.
• To select branches from other districts, select the “last saved options” again instead of logging out and logging in back.
• you can also input an option in between, by selecting the “IN BETWEEN SELECTIONS” option.
• you can also use the alternate site at the following address to exercise your options. http://164.100.12.132/apeamcet .

Due to various EAMCET policies from 2009, EAMCET delayed the RANKS and released MARKS first. so finall the results are out. Now, the debate starts.. Now that the EAMCET Counselling fever started and people are wondering on how to get a seat in the engineering or medicine colleges. I have already gave you lot of tips and detailed information in the previous posts regarding engineering procedure, engineering ranks, probable seats and probable colleges. If you missed them, dont worry, go through the education section of the site and you will find them waiting for you.

I have also attached rank list of you and the Eamcet engineering, medicine  counselling procedures and tips for that. please go through them in the Education section. The post with the title – EAMCET 8-Step counselling will give you all the information regarding the web-counselling details. please go through that as it is very important before you start opting the choices of colleges.

So, Now again i am recalling the strategy to make yourself comfortable and assure a Medicine or Engineering  seat. what is it?

• OPT – OPT -OPT
• OPT every college and branch u get.
• Opt every seat you feel you get
• Opt every thing you feel you may not get.
• And dont forget to opt those extra colleges though u dont like, coz it will serve us as a backup seat if we dont get anything from all the previous posts.
  

Dont loose any college right from the top most colleges, even if your rank is 1lakh. OPT everything. since this is only chance for your lifetime to choose your college. Give most of the time. The counseling for EAMCET has begun and as a first step the state government has started 49 online help centres across the state. Students will be given the book that indicates to them admission pattern in the colleges as per the rank attained by them for the last academic year. From July 8^th at District level verification of certificates will be carried out which all aspirants should compulsorily attend. Advice will be given to students in eight stages which they will have to adhere to.

I Stage – Registration for Verification of Certificates.

• Wait for the announcement of concerned officers at the district online help centers.
• Handing over of the rank card to the concerned officer after the announcement of the same.
• Wait for your turn to be called in the registration room.
• Payment of registration fees when the rank of a student is called out.
• Obtain registration verification form from the concerned computer operator.
• Enter details asked for in the register at the help center.
• Wait for the announcement of certificate verification.
• Proceed to the verification counter after the announcement is made.

II Stage – Certificate Verification

• Cross check for the correctness of your details in the registration verification form.
• Get the mistakes corrected if there are any.
• Students wanting to avail reservation should get their caste certificates approved by the concerned officer provided for this purpose. They should then proceed to get the other certificates verified by another officer provided for this purpose.
• OC students also should get all their original certificates verified by the concerned officer.
• Officers will then provide a receipt of verification to the student on which the student must sign. In case of any problems are doubts they can contact the main verification officer.

III Stage – Advice for Options

• Students must arrange the list of colleges they want to join in the order of preference.
• Students must obtain from the briefing officer, the code of the colleges, the codes of the courses and the specimen option form.
• The briefing officer will explain the procedure for exercising options and filling up of the option form to the students.

IV Stage.

• Students must consult their parents regarding the choice of their colleges and courses.
• The option number of the selected college and course codes must be entered in the specimen option form.

Note: If you want to join in the ECE branch of a particular college then against the code of the college and the particular course code you must enter the number 1. Similarly if you want to do another course in another college you should enter the number 2 against that code.

V Stage. Submitting Options Across the Inter Net . Students can enter the details mentioned in stage IV on the computer screen on an inter net connection at home or from any where with an inter net connection. When he/she enters on the computer screen they should follow the procedure given below.

• Verification of certificates should be completed.
• Enter the URL of the web site address as notified or as given below
  for eg. http://apeamcet.nic.in
• The information necessary for giving the information will be in the given page. In the information provided the page “candidates registration” is for web counseling and the page “candidates log in options” should be used to provide the necessary information.
• Click on the “candidates registration” and give all the necessary information.
• Then click on the “general pass word”.
  1. In the enter pass word box at least enter a pass word of 6 characters with at least one number eg. Ramana1 etc.
  2. Re enter the pass word.
  3. click on save to save the pass word.
  4. To complete registration click on log out and go to the home page.

• For giving details of options go to “candidates login options”.
• Enter the details like registration number, hall ticket number pass word date of birth etc., and click on “sign in”.
• Read carefully the directions given on the screen and also the declaration. Then click on the click box and confirm.
• Then click on the options entry form or on the help screen and menu items will appear on the screen.
• Read menu items care fully and click on ” click here to enter options”. You will find different districts along with their check boxes. You will also find the same information when you would have earlier clicked on the options entry form.
• You can then select the college you want district wise. If you click on “select all” you will be able to see the list of all the colleges in your district.
• When you click on “display options entry form” you will find the screen on which you can select your options.
• On the screen you will find engineering courses in four groups e.g. on screen 1you will find BIO, CIV, CSE, INF,EEE, MEC etc.,
• As per the specimen option form you have previously filled, you should enter the options for the courses and the colleges in the boxes on the screen.
• This should be done after consulting your parents. Do not try to directly fill the boxes on the computer screen without filling the options specimen form.
• Do not forget to click on “save options” when you enter your options on the computer screen.
• Once you complete filling options click on “log out”. You will then find 3 warnings. They are “Save and Logout”, “Confirm Logout” and “cancel Logout”. If you click on “Cancel Logout”, there will be no change in the information you filled in the options form. If you click on “Save and Logout” you will find the immediate information that you have filled in options. If you click on “Confirm Logout” you will find all the information you have given in your options.
• Once you verified you options if you want change them click on : “Login for options entry”..
• You can change your options as many times as you want provided it is with in prescribed time.
• After the prescribed time is over these options are frozen in the server.
• If you want to change the options once they are frozen then you can go to the help line center and change it but you can do it only once.
• You can obtain a print out regarding your options.

Note : You should try and give as many options as you can depending on your rank. If you give less options then there is a chance that you may miss your seat.

If you take the help of a computer operator to fill in your ensure he does not know your pass word.

VI Stage : Allotment of Seats

• Results of allotment of seats based on merit and category will be placed in the web on the announced date.
• Candidates can down load the allotment order.
• This will be treated as final and no changes will be entertained.

VII Stage : Payment of Fees.

• For payment of fees the challan form can be down loaded from the web site.
• The fee is payable at any of the branches of Andhra Bank or Indian Bank in the state.
• Parents of reserved categories whose annual income does not exceed Rs 1,00,000/- will get an exemption of Tuition fees and special fees.

VIII Stage : Admission to the College.

• The candidate should report to the respective college before the necessary date along with the down loaded allotment order, receipt of the fees etc.,
• Your seat will be cancelled if you do not report by the due date.

So, friends finally the list is announced with the number of students that scored the same number of marks in EAMCET MEDICINE 2009. So, go through the list and use most of it for your rank analysis and the score card analysis. and feel free to post any thing that u need of. Try sending this information to friends and relatives of you or your brothers and sisters. so help them with this list. you can get the updates on this, and other information of the site on ur email by subscribing to the site. So, Find the rank that u may get in the medicine. your weightage  in inter/intermediate will not effect your rank since it is considered as 25% of the rank percentage.  That means if you get a score of 100 in eamcet and percentage of groups is 24% and ur friend got the same marks and percentage is 23% or some thing. the rank equation will let u alter  +1 or -1.

So friends, here is the list of the students that scored the similar marks like you. this list gives you the information regarding the total number of students marks that scored your marks and more. This list is out after calculating on almost exact figures. So, use this for EAMCET-2009 ranks. One more thing to tell you here is your marks percentage is not going to effect ur rank too much. that is You can check the rank of you by adding +1 or -1 in the table provided here if you scored well and less marks in EAMCET respectively.
