Face Book is likely to join the hall of fame for video uploading from Apple iPhone 3GS with a new app that it is being developed. Youtube saw its uploads increase by 400% after the release of the iPhone 3GS.
The already hugely popular Facebook app for iPhone developed by Joe Hewitt is almost complete and is likely to be announced soon. Joe Hewitt works for Face Book and as a hobby pursues iPhone apps development. The app for the iPhone 3GS will not include the push notifications that Apple has released for its developers. The app in addition to video uploading to Face Book will have the following features as announced by Joe Hewitt.

- Better Notifications (they link to the comments so you can reply)
- Quickly call or text people right from the Friends page
- Messages you are typing will be restored if you quit or are interrupted by a phone call
